So, lowering the financial responsibility requirements for drivers in Nevada is seen as a good thing? Who was pushing the legislature for this? If you are injured or your property is damaged by one of these newly underinsured drivers, you are just tough out of luck – unless you are smart enough to carry underinsured coverage.

Is this not just more government BS?? Just keep on adding benefits for people who do not work. Pretty soon only 20 or 30% of us will wake up every morning and go to work. The other 80% will be at home, on the sofa, watching Oprah.

This is not necessary. We have an abundance of carriers here in Nevada to service the needs of the citizenry. Also, the limits are too low. I guarantee this will morph into a state sponsored behemonth which will ultimately fail. Politicians are usually selfish and arrogant which leads to failure and hard working folks who play by rules will ultimately have to pay for the failure which will certainly come. They did this with work comp which almost bankrupted the state.
